2. Accessing and delivering this website
When you visit this website, technical connection data is processed as needed to provide the site. Depending on what your browser sends and what our hosting provider records, this may include your IP address, the time and destination of the request, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status, browser and device information, and the page you visited before this one. We process this data to deliver the website, maintain its stability and security, and identify technical errors or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest is operating a secure and functional website.
Vercel hosts this website. Vercel processes technical access data on our behalf and may process other data under the terms applicable to its service. Access data is retained only for as long as needed to provide the website, protect it, and investigate errors, unless statutory retention duties apply. The logging features and retention periods actually used depend on the production Vercel configuration.
Provider information: Vercel Privacy Notice.
3. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details, the content of your inquiry, and any documents you provide. We use this information to handle your request and communicate with you. Where your inquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other inquiries, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to messages addressed to us.
We use Google Workspace for email at the satorid.de domain. Google processes emails and the information they contain for this purpose. We delete inquiries when they have been resolved and no further retention is required. Contractual and tax-law retention duties, or the need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, may require longer storage.
Provider information: Google Workspace privacy, compliance, and records.
4. Consent and site preferences
This website uses a locally hosted consent feature. You can allow or decline the embedded Calendly calendar. We store your decision as a technically necessary preference in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. It records the choice and when you made it, but does not create a user account or advertising profile. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. If browser storage is unavailable, you may be asked again after changing pages.
Without your consent, the embedded Calendly calendar does not load. Merely opening the Demo page therefore does not transfer data to Calendly through this embed. If you instead open the external Calendly link, you leave our website; Calendly’s own privacy and cookie settings then apply.
If you manually choose a language using “DE | EN,” we store that choice in the functional cookie satorid_locale for 180 days. The cookie contains only de or en; it does not contain a user or advertising identifier. On a later visit to the homepage, we use your manual choice first. If you have not made one, we check the language sent by your browser; if that does not yield a clear choice, we use the country associated with your connection as provided by Vercel. We do not request precise device or GPS location for this purpose. This automatic selection does not redirect direct links to other pages. Storing your manual choice is necessary to provide the language preference you requested under Section 25(2)(2) of the German Telecommunications-Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). To the extent personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is providing the website in an appropriate language and remembering the language you chose. You can change your manual preference by choosing another language or by deleting the cookie in your browser.
5. Booking through Calendly and Google Calendar
On the Demo page, you can choose to load an embedded Calendly calendar. Only after you consent does your browser connect to Calendly. In that process, your IP address and technical information about your browser, device, and visit may be transmitted to Calendly. The legal basis for loading this optional embed is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where Calendly stores or accesses information on your device and consent is required, Section 25(1) TDDDG also applies. You can withdraw consent to the embed at any time through our cookie settings, with effect for the future; the embedded calendar will then no longer be shown.
If you book a meeting, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, email address, chosen time, and any other information you submit for the conversation. Calendly processes the booking and checks availability against our Google Calendar in Google Workspace. Booking details and appointments may therefore also be processed by Google. We use this information to arrange and hold the strategy call and to communicate with you afterward. The legal basis for booking information is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We retain booking information for as long as needed to arrange the meeting, hold the conversation, and handle any related follow-up. Statutory duties or the need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims may require longer retention.
Calendly also displays its own cookie settings inside the embedded calendar. Those settings govern cookies and similar technologies used by Calendly. Declining Calendly’s optional cookies does not necessarily prevent the processing technically required to book a meeting.
Provider information: Calendly Privacy Notice, Calendly cookie and banner information, Google Workspace privacy, compliance, and records.
6. Locally hosted fonts, simulations, and external services
The fonts used on this website are served by the website itself. Loading them does not connect your browser to Google Fonts. The Voice and WhatsApp simulations use fictional sample data and do not send conversation content to external agents. The website does not use an additional browser analytics or marketing script.
Links to external services, including the client login at app.satorid.dev, take you to a different service. Merely displaying such a link does not connect your browser to its operator. If you click it, the privacy information of the destination service applies.
7. Recipients and transfers outside the European Economic Area
In the circumstances described above, Vercel and Google—and, after you consent to the embed or open its external link, Calendly—may receive data. Depending on the service and its configuration, processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred to a third country, a basis provided for under Chapter V GDPR may apply, in particular a relevant adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request information about the safeguards used for a particular transfer by emailing info@satorid.de.
8. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, email info@satorid.de.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For non-public bodies in Bavaria, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision is one relevant authority.
9. Whether information is required; automated decisions
You are not contractually required to provide personal data merely to visit this website. Without the information needed to contact you or arrange a meeting, we may be unable to respond to an inquiry or organize an appointment. This website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
